Social progress program:
- Qualification of Farmers: The mechanized harvesting of sugar cane has promoted great environmental gains, while the burned areas have been drastically reduced. In contrast to the environmental gain, there is the social challenge of occupying rural labor that is becoming idle due to the fall in manual harvesting. The Rural Qualification project has been working to train these workers to take on new functions within the company
- Tear: craft and embroidery workshop. The main objective of Projeto Tear is to provide conditions for children and young people to build their citizenship, ensuring, with absolute priority, the realization of their fundamental rights through socio-educational and professional activities. This initiative takes place in a complementary period to the school, aimed at children from families with low income
Environmental progress program:
- Organic Certification of Suppliers: Native believes in Organic Production as an option for the production of healthy food combined with the concepts of environmental and social sustainability. Therefore, it created an incentive program for its suppliers to convert conventional areas into organic areas
- 3rd Faunistic Monitoring Campaign: Native has monitored the increase in biodiversity in the areas of organic production and native vegetation recovered on certified farms. This Third Faunistic Monitoring Campaign aims to evaluate specific indicators of wild vertebrate stands and their evolution in relation to the maturation of areas of restored vegetation that are still under process of increasing spatial complexity and resources for shelter and food
