IBD Approved as Starbucks C.A.F.E. Practices Verifier |

On January 08, 2010, IBD was approved as a veryfing organization for the C.A.F.E. (Coffee and Farmer Equity) Practices standard.
The C.A.F.E. standard assesses the sustainaility of coffee production against economic, social and environmental criteria according to the “C.A.F.E. Practices Guidelines” www.scscertified.com/retail/starbucks_documents-esp.php
With the provisional approval , IBD can already accept requests for verification of coffee producers/suppliers whose application has been approved by Starbucks.
